We have got the assignment to find Re:food’s new Fund Controller interested in food and agriculture to join the Stockholm office.

The position is in Stockholm City, and you will report directly to the COO, Daniel Nyander.
Job description:
The position involves leading or assisting in all aspects of the fund financials as well as improving efficiency of operations and processes.
- Lead or assist with all aspects of the firm’s finance and accounting functions
- Manage, coordinate, and oversee external vendors such as fund administrator and auditors etc.
- Ensure investor and compliance reports are prepared properly.
- Assist with the quarterly valuation process.
- Lead the annual audit and tax reporting processes.
- Contribute to enhancing existing policies and procedures, specifically internal processes related to financial reporting.
- Support COO in responding to investor requests and ad hoc queries for internal and external parties.
- Assist in preparing capital allocations, capital calls, and distribution calculations, including carried interest calculations and management fee calculations.
- Analyse and reconcile bank statements, investment activity, income, and expense accruals. Perform accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and other financial analyses.
Profile description:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Outstanding analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong accounting and finance technical background with business acumen.
- Experience in financial modelling.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, structured, and efficient.
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills with external and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Flexible, open, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work in the office in Stockholm.
- Fluent in English.
