The role as Group Accounting manager at Verdane includes the overall responsibility for the In-house accounting team that is based in Sweden, Norway and Germany. You will be responsible for processes, internal control and systems, the lead contact person to external providers and work closely with the rest of the finance team on ad-hoc projects.
Job description:
• Lead and develop the in-house accounting team across Sweden, Norway, and Germany.
• Oversee and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and systems.
• Serve as the primary liaison to external providers.
• Collaborate with the finance team on ad-hoc projects and group reporting.
• Drive improvement projects and document processes and routines.
• Support finance managers and controllers with accounting expertise.
Profile description:
• Master’s / MBA degree graduate
• 6-8+ year experience in the financial sector such as: Accounting, audit or similar.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record in team development.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish, additional languages are a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and interested in systems, AI and technology.
• Strong project management skills: self-starter, organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
