Would you like to help establish DNB as the leading Corporate and Institutional bank in Sweden? We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Analyst to join the Customer Analysis Section (CAS) as part of DNB Large Corporates & International (LCI) in Stockholm.
DNB is Norway’s largest bank and one of the leading financial groups in the Nordic region. In Sweden, we are in an expansive and dynamic phase. Together with DNB Carnegie, the leading investment bank in the Nordics, we offer deep industry expertise, international presence, and tailored financial solutions that help our clients grow and develop in both Swedish and global markets.
About the role
As a Corporate Analyst, you will be part of the Customer Analysis Section (CAS), working in a collaborative, analytical, and client-centric environment.
CAS works closely with the bank’s client teams, engaging in dialogue with clients, relationship managers, and internal stakeholders to conduct risk assessments and financial analysis. These analyses form the basis for well-founded business decisions aligned with the bank’s risk profile.
In the role of Corporate Analyst, you will have overall responsibility for the analysis and monitoring of a client portfolio consisting of complex companies. You will conduct in-depth credit reviews, identify risk drivers at both institutional and market levels, and lead the preparation and presentation of decision material for credit committees and decision-makers. The role involves close collaboration with both clients and internal stakeholders and requires the ability to act as a trusted advisor to the business while supporting more junior colleagues in the team.
Your main responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to drive and further develop the credit process within the TMT and Healthcare segments. This includes:
- Independently preparing analyses, recommendations, and risk assessments for credit committees in client-related matters.
- Taking responsibility for the ongoing credit risk of a client portfolio, including monitoring counterparty exposure, performance, market developments, and regulatory changes.
- Leading the credit-related parts of the onboarding process for new clients through internal credit approvals and legal negotiations.
- Contributing to methodology development, knowledge sharing, and quality assurance of analytical work within CAS.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with at least five years of relevant experience in credit risk and credit analysis, preferably from a similar role, leveraged finance, or as a credit analyst within a company. You have very strong analytical skills from both a commercial and credit perspective. In addition, you have:
- A relevant Master’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or equivalent.
- Proven experience of independent credit responsibility and working with senior decision-makers.
- Strong business judgment and high integrity.
- A structured, analytical, and proactive way of working.
- The ability to build trust and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A willingness to contribute to a collaborative and engaging work environment, as well as to support and develop junior colleagues.
