EQT is looking for a Business Controller to be based in Stockholm as a member of the Private Equity Performance Team (’PEPT’). This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly professional, supportive and challenging environment. EQT are looking into long hold strategies and have an ambitious sustainability agenda.

This is an important role in supporting and strengthening the team consisting of four people based in Stockholm, Zürich, Münich and Copenhagen. In this newly created role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Acting as sparring partner in all strategic business controlling related matters
  • Focusing on many aspects of controlling, including strategic planning, annual budgeting and internal reporting
  • The role provides an opportunity to evolve and streamline structures and processes with the current team, as EQT continue to expand
  • Working closely with the Business Line Controller function, your job will be to provide a consolidated perspective with a strong analytical and commercial focus
  • EQT has a strong digital mission and you will be expected to take part in driving and developing data quality and digitalization
  • Running and presenting analyses for the Private Equity Management Group

Candidate profile:

  • University degree within a relevant field
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience preferably from financial-, business- and/or cost controlling work, international environment is a plus
  • Experience with building and managing a controlling team is considered a merit
  • Experience as a controller from the financial industry is considered a merit
  • Experience from the Big4 is considered a merit
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and BI
  • Outstanding analytical skills combined with a strong practical understanding
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required
