- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes by implementing new systems and digital tools as needed.
- Act as a strategic partner between Finance and IT, ensuring alignment between financial planning and IT initiatives.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes for IT-related projects and digital investments.
- Monitor and analyze IT cost structures to identify opportunities for cost optimization and increased efficiency.
- Responsible for business control of HQ, including budgeting at cost center level, forecasting, and monthly follow-up.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries in 18 countries and HQ teams to support financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and KPIs on both group and country levels to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial planning activities.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Profile & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional education in IT or data analytics is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in business controlling, preferably with exposure to IT, digital transformation, or technology-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of IT financial management, including CAPEX/OPEX, cost control, and investment analysis.
- Solid experience working with financial systems such as IFS and Cognos, and strong skills in data and reporting tools like Power BI and Excel.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international setting.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
- Familiar with international financial regulations and standards, including IFRS.
To thrive at Polygon, you are a true team player who collaborates smoothly across cultures, countries, and organizational levels. You communicate clearly, with humility and a service-minded attitude.
