Head of Finance & Operations

Our client is a private equity–backed international software and services company, operating as a value-added reseller and implementation partner within PLM, CAD and Simulation who are now looking for a Finance & Operations Manager. Their customers are primarily found in discrete manufacturing, and their offering spans software sales as well as implementation, development, maintenance and support.

Since 2020, the group has grown from approximately 300 MSEK in revenue to just under 2 BSEK today, with 500+ employees globally, through a combination of strong organic growth and a highly successful M&A strategy. Growth ambitions remain high.

Our client is now entering a new 4–6 year ownership cycle with a new majority PE owner, and are making deliberate structural investments in key roles and capabilities to support the next phase of the journey.

As Finance & Operations Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and take global responsibility for the finance organization. You will become the direct manager for six regional finance leaders, covering 15 legal entities across North America, UK/Europe, Nordics, Germany, Southeast Asia and India.

Your role will include but not be limited to

• Take hands-on operational responsibility for global accounting, reporting and financial control
• Lead, coach and develop a diverse international finance organization (~20 people)
• Own and drive the global finance agenda, including systems, processes and ways of working
• Play a central role in setting the road map of and leading implementation projects of global finance systems (e.g. ERP consolidation)
• Ensure newly acquired companies are effectively integrated into a scalable group structure
• Help prepare the group for increased complexity – and potentially a future IPO 

Who we’re looking for
You are a senior finance leader with the credibility and experience to create structure in a fast-growing, international environment. You combine strong operational capability with a longer-term perspective and are comfortable leading through change.

We believe you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in senior finance roles within international, multi-entity organizations
• Experience from public companies and/or IPO readiness environments
• Proven leadership of global or cross-border finance teams
• Hands-on experience from ERP implementations in complex environments
• Experience supporting or integrating acquired companies (M&A) into group structures
• Strong understanding of IFRS, consolidation, internal control and governance
• The ability to move between detail and big picture, especially in periods of change
• A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style with high integrity and clear communication
• Fluent in Swedish and English 
• Experience from private equity–backed companies is highly valued
