On behalf of our client, we are looking for a senior M&A Manager. Our client is a leading Nordic SaaS group within their niche with a growing international presence, providing scalable software solutions to both private and public sectors. Backed by experienced private equity owners, the company pursues an active buy-and-build strategy, leveraging capital for acquisitions while maintaining a strong focus on profitability. The M&A function is now being strengthened, and the company seeks an inhouse corporate M&A Manager to play a pivotal role in its growth.
About the Role
As M&A Manager, you will be fully dedicated from day one. You will manage deals within the SME segment, including acquisitions that add new verticals and add-ons that strengthen existing offerings, supporting both geographic and vertical expansion.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the full M&A process from deal origination to closing, including negotiations and stakeholder engagement
- Identify, screen, and evaluate potential acquisition targets, prepare financial models, valuations, and decision materials
- Be heavily involved in the due diligence process by running commercial review as well as coordinating due diligence with internal teams and external advisors
- Setting strategic direction while remaining hands-on and operating independently
- Engage directly with the board, owners, and executive leadership throughout the transaction process.
We are seeking a commercially minded and analytically strong M&A Manager with the ability to drive multiple transactions in parallel.
We are looking for you who have:
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or engineering from a leading business school or university
- 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, management consulting, or M&A, with hand-on M&A experience from an investment bank or within a Big 4 advisory team
- Strong financial and technical skills, with the ability to build and evaluate complex models independently
- Solid understanding of SaaS businesses, including ARR, key KPIs, and value drivers, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk considerations would be considered a merit
- Demonstrated seniority and confidence to engage effectively with executive management, boards, and private equity owners, combined with excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
