About the role
The Large Corporates & International (LCI) business area is responsible for DNB’s largest clients across sectors including industrials, consumer trade & services, financial institutions, healthcare, tech, and financial sponsors. The business is global, with a presence across the Nordics, London, New York, Singapore, and Sydney.
Financial Institutions cover customers such as banks, insurance companies, asset managers, fintech companies, and other regulated financial counterparties. In Sweden, the team consists of three Client Executives who collaborate closely with sector and product colleagues across the Nordics.
Working in Financial Institutions, you will have the opportunity to be at the heart of the financial industry with the full product range DNB has to offer. Most importantly are all areas of Markets as well as Treasury management. The position is at the core of banking and finance, and you will be part of a positive environment supported by both close colleagues and product specialists. The position requires strong commercial acumen, a client-centric mindset, and a structured, long-term approach.
Main responsibilities
- Manage a selected customer portfolio and actively drive new business origination within relevant financial institutions’ segments
- Develop and lead strategic client relationships, including capital structure advice, liquidity solutions, risk management, and cross-selling with product specialists
- Initiate and execute transactions from pitch to closing, including credit assessment, structuring, and documentation
- Develop and maintain strong industry knowledge, which includes broadening networks, keeping active dialogues with relevant industry stakeholders and continuously strengthening DNB’s visibility in the market
- Have a hands-on risk approach, including credit-, AML- and non-financial risk assessments

- Academic degree in finance, economics or a related field
- Minimum ten years of relevant experience in institutional- or corporate banking with strong business acumen and ability to manage client relationships
- Experience working with financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, asset managers, or other regulated entities is considered a strong advantage
- In-depth knowledge of banking products, capital markets and capital-efficient solutions, and preferably experience from financial institutions and balance sheet optimization
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Proactive, structured and results oriented approach
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
