About the role
The Large Corporates & International (LCI) division covers DNB’s largest and most complex client relationships across sectors including industrials, consumer, trade & services, financial institutions, healthcare, tech, and financial sponsors. The business is international, with a presence across the Nordics, London, New York, Singapore, and Sydney.
At the DNB Gothenburg office we maintain a strong local presence to serve our large- and mid-corp clients primarily across Industrials and Consumer, Trade & Services sectors. The office has 15 employees including a team of three Client Executives that work closely with sector and product colleagues across the Nordics.
As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for managing and building your own portfolio, primarily focusing on mid-corp clients. You will develop long-term relationships with both existing and new clients by providing strategic financial advice and tailored solutions. The role includes analyzing clients’ business models, market positioning, capital structures, and financing needs, as well as coordinating internal specialists across ie. credit, cash management, trade finance, risk, and capital markets. The position requires strong commercial judgment, analytical capability, solid market understanding, and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
Main responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of clients while proactively driving new business origination within the mid-corp segment

Build trusted client relationships and act as a strategic advisor on topics such as capital structure, financing solutions, and growth initiatives.

Originate and execute transactions end-to-end — from initial client dialogue and pitching to credit approval, structuring, and documentation.

Collaborate closely with internal product specialists to deliver integrated and value-adding solutions across lending, capital markets, and transaction banking.

Maintain strong industry knowledge and expand relevant networks, while ensuring high-quality KYC processes and non-financial risk management.
Who we are looking for

An academic degree in economics, finance, business administration or similar.

Relevant experience in corporate banking or a related field, with a strong commercial mindset and proven relationship management skills.

Solid understanding of banking products, capital markets, and financing solutions tailored to mid-corp companies.

Background in credit analysis or leveraged finance is considered an advantage

Strong sense of ownership with the ability to independently drive client relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and developing new business opportunities.
