Would you like to join one of the Nordic region’s leading Private Equity firms and take on a central role in monitoring and analysing some of the region’s most exciting growth companies?
Norvestor is looking for an analytically strong and commercially minded Investment Controller to join their Stockholm team. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with investment professionals, portfolio companies and investors in a dynamic and international environment defined by high ambitions, entrepreneurship and long-term value creation.
The Role
As Investment Controller, you will play a key role in the monitoring and analysis of Norvestor’s funds and portfolio companies. Working closely with the investment teams, you will provide high-quality analysis, reporting and decision support across both ongoing portfolio management and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Take ownership of and coordinate portfolio reporting, ensuring high quality, accuracy and timely delivery across reporting processes.
-
Analyze the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, including relevant KPIs and value creation initiatives.
-
Support valuation processes and prepare high-quality analysis and decision-making materials.
-
Prepare investor reporting, quarterly materials and analyses related to fundraising activities.
-
Contribute to ESG initiatives through data collection, analysis, reporting and risk assessment at both fund and portfolio company level.
-
Develop and implement new processes, analytical tools and reporting frameworks.
-
Conduct recurring and ad hoc analyses to support the investment organisation and internal decision-making.
-
Participate in internal projects and support fund-related operational processes.
Your Profile
We are looking for a high-calibre professional with approximately 4–8 years of relevant experience, gained from Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Valuation, Audit, FP&A or a similarly analytical financial environment.
To succeed in the role, we believe you will bring:
-
Strong financial acumen and commercial understanding.
-
Solid experience in financial analysis, modelling and reporting.
-
Advanced Excel skills.
-
The ability to critically assess financial statements, KPIs, earnings development and underlying operational trends.
-
A strong commercial mindset and genuine interest in businesses, investments and value creation.
-
Experience with data analytics, Power BI or similar tools is considered an advantage.
Personal Qualities
You combine strong analytical capabilities with a high degree of ownership and independence. Curious and structured by nature, you are comfortable taking responsibility and driving matters forward from analysis through to conclusion.
You also have the confidence and integrity to challenge assumptions, ask the right questions and follow up with investment teams and portfolio companies when required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will work across multiple stakeholders in an environment where collaboration, quality and a high pace go hand in hand.
Why Norvestor?
Norvestor is one of the Nordic region’s most established Private Equity firms, with more than three decades of experience investing in and developing market-leading Nordic businesses. This is an opportunity to join an experienced, but growing team, and to support portfolio company management teams in an international environment where rigorous analysis, commercial judgement and long-term value creation are at the core of the business. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in the Nordics and Luxembourg. Some presence in Luxembourg may be required, alongside regular travel across the Nordic region and Europe.
