About the role
As a Healthcare Industry Specialist, you will play a key part in strengthening DNB’s position as the leading Nordic Healthcare bank, leveraging your expertise, network and sector insights.
You will use your industry knowledge to provide strategic, value-adding advice to clients and prospects, promoting DNB’s healthcare expertise across the Nordics, originating opportunities and developing DNB’s institutional healthcare competence. You will work closely together with customer and product teams across the region, including our colleagues in DNB Carnegie, as well as our Healthcare Industry Specialist located in the US.
You will represent DNB in external forums, engage with industry stakeholders, support Nordic and international teams in business development, and contribute to both credit processes and transaction execution.
Main responsibilities
- Position DNB as the Nordic Healthcare bank towards clients, prospects, partners, banks, media, and other stakeholders.
- Arrange and participate in sector events, conferences and activities supporting the Healthcare ecosystem in the Nordics.
- Support customer teams with pitch development, industry insights, presentations and analysis.
- Contribute to credit assessments, deal origination and transaction processes.
- Maintain and further develop strong relationships with key external partners, industry organisations, clusters and venture ecosystems.
- Share industry knowledge and market insights with customer teams, decision makers and senior management.
- dentify and drive profitable growth opportunities across the Nordic Healthcare market.
- Collaborate closely with international colleagues to build bridges between the Nordic and global Healthcare sectors.
- Promote DNB’s purpose and values and contribute positively to the bank’s external reputation.
Competence requirements
- Higher academic education at university level; a medical degree is an advantage. Extensive healthcare industry experience may compensate for lacking medical education.
- Deep understanding of the Healthcare ecosystem, including regulatory frameworks.
- Documented experience from relevant companies or organisations.
- Experience from working effectively in customer teams; international exposure is an advantage.
- Strong business judgement with good understanding of credit, risk and capital markets.
- Fluent in English, Scandinavian language is an advantage.
