AI Specialist – M&A

We are looking for a hands-on AI Specialist with strong technical skills and a genuine interest in applying AI to improve ways of working. The role is based within a large international advisory firm, where you will work closely with M&A professionals to identify opportunities for improvement and develop AI-based solutions. These will help automate recurring tasks and make processes more efficient across M&A.

About the Role

You will be part of an internal AI initiative focused on developing and improving ways of working across M&A. Working closely with M&A specialists, you will identify business needs and develop AI-based solutions that can be applied in day-to-day work.

You will work hands-on with generative AI and LLMs, from understanding existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement to building, testing and further developing solutions. This could include automating repetitive tasks, developing prompt libraries and creating AI-supported workflows.

You will be a visible, business-oriented resource, focused on translating technological opportunities into tangible improvements across the business.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone with practical experience in developing AI-based solutions and a strong understanding of generative AI and LLMs. You are technically skilled, curious and interested in using AI to solve concrete problems and improve ways of working.

We believe you have:

• A relevant academic degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a similar field.

• Practical experience in AI development, for example as an AI Engineer, at an AI or technology company, or in another role focused on developing AI-based solutions.

• A good understanding of generative AI and LLMs, together with hands-on experience using AI tools and platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT/OpenAI or Microsoft Copilot.

• Technical understanding of areas such as prompting, APIs, AI agents, automation and structured data.

• The ability to identify relevant use cases, build and test prototypes, and take solutions from idea to practical implementation.

Experience working with complex processes, large datasets or business-oriented problem-solving is considered an advantage.
