About CAS
CAS is DNB Corporate Banking Sweden’s team of credit analysts, working closely with customer teams to assess credit risk and produce the credit papers behind the bank’s lending decisions. DNB has a sector-focused approach covering sectors Consumer, Industrials, Financial Institutions, Energy, Healthcare, TMT, Business Services, Real Estate and Financial Sponsors (leveraged finance).
About the role
As a Corporate Analyst within CAS, you will be responsible for assessing credit risk across a portfolio of mid- to large-cap companies within the CTS sector. You will combine strong financial and credit analysis with a deep understanding of the sector, its business models and key market dynamics. You will take ownership of the credit process for new transactions and existing clients, preparing decision material for credit committees and senior stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with client teams, clients and other internal stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to play an important role in DNB’s lending decisions and further develop the bank’s expertise within the sector.
Key responsibilities
As a Corporate Analyst within CTS, your responsibilities include:

Leading credit analysis and risk assessments of mid- to large-cap companies including internal ratings and risk calculations.

Assessing new transactions and financing events, including financial performance, business models, capital structures and key sector-specific risk drivers.

Taking ownership of the credit process and preparing credit documentation and decision material for credit committees and senior stakeholders.

Monitoring credit risk across an existing client portfolio, including financial performance, counterparty exposure and relevant market developments.

Contributing to the development of sector expertise, analytical approaches, knowledge sharing within CAS.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a senior professional with strong analytical skills, sound business judgment and a genuine interest in consumer oriented businesses. You are comfortable taking independent responsibility, challenging assumptions and building credibility with senior stakeholders. You are also a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues.
Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in credit analysis, corporate banking or a closely related field

Experience analysing larger and/or more complex corporate clients, including financial performance, cash flow, leverage and capital structures.

Solid understanding of business models, key sector dynamics and relevant value and risk drivers relating to Retail (Consumer Trade) is particularly meriting.

Experience assessing financing needs and credit risk in contexts such as growth investments, M&A, refinancing or other corporate transactions.

Experience working with multiple stakeholders in credit and client processes, is considered an advantage.
